Force buddy!

Armando Guebuza will continue to lead the party Frelimo after the Tenth Congress next September, according to assurances from Secretary-General of political education. Philip Paúnde says there is no reason to depart Guebuza of the party leadership, but rather for his reappointment to the position.
"We want the party remains strong, with this vitality and, therefore, Armando Guebuza will continue in the leadership of our party," said Paúnde, adding that "the party has never been on stage in what is now, has never been perfect in terms of its operation. The committees, resident cells are working as never before. The central school is to train cadres and the party is working out the right direction thanks to President Guebuza. "  Paúnde further explained that this will not conflict with the statutes of the party.  "Our statutes do not place a limit on the mandates of the president of the party and therefore will be doing so legally," he said.  Frelimo, through its secretary general, reiterated that Armando Guebuza will not reapply for president under the Constitution."Our laws are not above our Constitution, and between these two laws the Constitution prevails," he said.
