Nyusi dismissed six ministers: Adriano Maleiane, dismissed from the post of
Minister of Economy and Finance; Max Tonela, Minister of Mineral Resources and
Energy; Carlos Mesquita, Minister of Industry and Commerce; João Machatine,
Minister of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources; Augusta Maíta who leaves
the position of Minister of the Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries; and Carlos
Siliya, dismissed as Minister of Combatants.
The
document does not reveal the reasons for the two ministers’ dismissal.
