The Mozambican presidency says the two leaders
discussed and agreed on next steps in the peace process, which they hope will
be completed by the end of the year.
Without details, the note said that they agreed to
maintain their dialogue and closely monitor the work of the two committees,
aiming at a new meeting, soon, to prepare the final steps.
Gorongosa, headquarters, and refuge of Dhlakama,
leader of the opposition and its main military base.
This meeting was not announced before.
