A LAM Linhas Aereas de
Mocambique Boeing 737-700, registration C9-BAQ performing flight TM-156 from
Maputo to Nampula (Mozambique), overran the end of the runway 05 while landing
at Nampula at about 19:00L (17:00Z) and came to a stop with all gear past the
runway end. There were no injuries. A number of runway lights were damaged, the
damage to the aircraft is being assessed.The flight was scheduled
to land at 19:05L (17:05Z).Nampula features a runway 05/23 of 2000 meters/6560
