Arrests three Congolese for kidnapping albino in Lichinga

The Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) have detained three citizens of Congolese origin in the city of Nampula on suspicion of having kidnapped an albino youngster.Police announced on Wednesday that the kidnapping occurred in the city of Lichinga, capital of Niassa province (northern Mozambique), and that the three kidnappers, having forced the victim into their car, had driven him to the Marratane Refugee Centre in Nampula province.After being made aware by family of the victim's disappearance, the PRM initiated a search operation that led eventually to the rescue of the youngster and the arrest of the three suspects.
